HAUSA High Line Walking Tour and Happy Hour at the Park in NYC
Please join us for a free 1 hour walking tour of the High Line Park in New York City. We will meet beneath the Standard Hotel.
The High Line project was considered an utopic idea that could never be feasible, but soon after its opening it generated a fast development in the surrounding areas- new buildings, restaurants, rezoning, investments, etc. The tour will feature views of the stunning variety of new architecture in West Chelsea and the Far West Village, as well as the innovative design of the High Line around which it is clustered. Included are buildings designed by Frank Gehry, Jean Nouvel, Shigeru Ban, Neil Denari, Annabelle Selldorf, Ennead Architects, Richard Meier and others. After the tour, we'll gather at 7pm for a happy hour at the Park Restaurant on 118 10th Avenue at 17th Street. Register here if you'd like to join us!
